History of Science
Science: Law & Ethics |

The primary purpose of a General
Science course is to introduce you to a broad range of
science subjects. More important, the lessons tie together the
various disciplines in a way that is difficult to achieve in the
usual, single-topic science courses.
General Science courses aren't necessarily elementary
science courses. It is, indeed, the first real science course that young
people encounter in school, but the title is also used for college-level
course aimed at informing students of a wide range of interrelated
science subjects.
General Science courses generally include chemistry, life
sciences such as biology and botany, physics and astronomy, ecology, and
earth sciences. |
