1. Companion websites are actually created to be used by teachers and students who have purchased copies of the textbook. Consequently, you will often find references to specific chapters, figures, and page numbers in the textbook. Obviously  you need to work around those items.
2. You do not need a copy of the textbook in order to learn a great deal from the resources offered on the site. Of course you can purchase a copy if you like, but Free-Ed.Net never requires you to buy a book in order to increase your knowledge and understanding of the subject.
3. Free-Ed.Net selects companion websites very carefully for you, linking you only to those sites that offer learning resources that are meaningful without having the actual textbook at hand.
4. You will find a few resources that are password protected. Just remember that we are fortunate that the publisher allows us to work with the items that are freely available to us.
5. Also remember that we are guests and, as such, we need work within the boundaries of the publisher's Terms of Service—notably, to use the available resources only for your own benefit.
